Moderate Outpatient Treatment

Moderate Outpatient Treatment is a program consisting of educational topics such as recognizing triggers, developing relapse prevention skills, understanding the stages of change, identifying thinking barriers and developing responsible thinking. This program also utilizes components of the Matrix Model, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Clients will learn how their thoughts influence their behaviors and develop strategies to replace negative thinking. Furthermore, clients will learn about the effective communication skills, family and relational dynamics and management of co-occurring disorders (treating both mental health disorder in combination with a substance abuse diagnosis).

Moderate Outpatient Treatment is offered every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. as well as every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Curriculum: videos, lectures and assignments
Cost: If state funded, clients pay $20 per session.
