Diversion Program

Diversion programs are designed to help first-time offenders through education on the risks of drug and alcohol use. Aimed at young adults, the program can help clients avoid future criminal offenses and remedy the behavior that led to arrest.

Carroll Institute offers a diversion program focused on education and prevention through a 12-hour group session. Instructors review segments covering drinking and driving, biological risks of drugs and alcohol, phases of addiction, legal risks and personal responsibility. We follow the Prevention Research Institute’s curriculum of videos, lectures and discussions

Who can attend?
Classes are for young adults ages 18-20 with a Tobacco Diagnosis or if they do not have a substance use disorder.
